Here at Petit Playa, our returns rate is a record low (on average 0.5-3% vs. the 20%+ industry average) and this is all thanks to customer feedback and years of improving our designs based on real life feedback (as well as being parents ourselves!).

We encourage you to use the measurements provided and compare them to a similar fabric item in your child's wardrobe (for example, if measuring swimwear ensure you measure against a stretch fabric item or if a dress, compare against a dress with little or no stretch) and lay the item flat and measure using a soft measuring tape.

Our Petal Sun Hat offers extensive sun safe protection alongside our super-cute signature 'petal' edge design.

This is a one size piece; we have incorporated an adjustable heavy cotton ribbon that runs around the head and can be adjusted for most Little Lady's aged 12 months to 5 years (although we would not advise for many children over 4.5 years) In addition, we have incorporated a matching heavy cotton chin strap for those windy days!

Created using a super-duper-soft honeycomb fabrication which has been overlaid with a custom limited edition print, this is then combined with a beautiful neutral cotton lining. 

Best of all? Our fabrics offer UPF50+ protection and are OEKO TEX Standard 100 certified (meaning no harmful chemicals against your Little Lady’s skin!) and are so soft and light that all our pieces can be worn on land or sea, making them great investment pieces that can be seamlessly mixed and matched.
